Begin a successful new year with our We Card Training Courses. Three courses are available.  Each course is interactive, engaging and effective in training store managers and employees how to responsibly sell age-restricted tobacco and vape products.

Employee Training

The We Card Employee Training Course prepares retail employees to sell age-restricted products, particularly tobacco and e-cigarettes or vaping products, while following federal and state laws. The course uses exercises, simulations, and evaluations to teach the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to stay in compliance.

To pass the end-of-training quiz, employees must demonstrate that they’ve learned how to ask for ID and when to do so, spot fake IDs, practice age calculation and other skills. Learn more about the course on our website: We Card Employee Training Course.

Manager Training

The We Card Manager’s Course complements current training processes by emphasizing the importance of responsible retailing of tobacco and vaping products. Store managers will learn how to use the tools available to them, such as ID scanners at the point of sale or the We Card age of purchase calendar. The training includes videos of in-store scenarios so managers can learn skills and gain the confidence they need to implement effective age-verification policies.

Refresher Training

Retrain and remind employees how to responsibly retail age-restricted products with the We Card Refresher Training Course. The refresher course is best for veteran employees who have previously completed the main Employee Training Course.  It includes many of the same interactive exercises from the Employee Training Course.

All employees can benefit from a refresher course, and the training is especially useful for remedial training when employees fail to meet responsible retailing expectations. Learn more about the course on our website: We Card Refresher Training Course.
